Staff Usage Reporting
Staff Usage Reporting
What is Staff Usage Reporting?
If you’d like to find out how your staff have been interacting with the system you can generate instant audit logs which are dedicated to CareDocs usage. These logs display a list of user actions, who performed them, the machine or device they used, and at what time. Viewing this data will give you a better understanding of how your team prefer to work or which areas of the system staff members are looking at.
How is Staff Usage Reporting used?
Your system keeps a log of all the sessions, data deletions, security changes, backups and user actions, such as uploading files and accessing information for residents and staff. Our Home Management Report section contains a report that enables you to quickly view logs for either individual staff members or groups, and locate specific entries instantly by choosing your own date ranges to and keywords to highlight. Similarly, there’s an audit log on the Management Portal which displays a list of user logins and actions.
What benefits does Staff Usage Reporting provide?
You can see exactly how your staff have been interacting with the software and whether they are using it as efficiently as you’d like. It also provides an evidence trail to demonstrate that the system is being used appropriately. Because audit logs cannot be edited you can remain confident that the information in front of you is accurate.
Who benefits from Staff Usage Reporting?
Care home or business managers get an insight to how the system is used and can use the logs to pick up on a number of valuable details, like whether a user is accessing information not relevant to them and needs their security settings reviewed, if a staff member is repeatedly performing the same task and may need training, or if someone is unintentionally changing or deleting information.
