Our development team and care sector specialists have taken the opportunity to look at various sections of the software and see where improvements can be made. As well as new features, small changes can make a big difference, and we want to make sure your day-to-day user experience is as clear and consistent as possible.
We started by looking at how we could further increase awareness of the COVID-19 information you record for residents. It’s essential that as many relevant people see these details as soon as possible, to protect all parties and enable the most suitable care. Now, the COVID-19 status of your residents, including recent symptoms and test results, will feature on the front page of the Emergency Admission Pack. Test result information has also been added to the Daily Notes section.
Due to the coronavirus crisis, meetings and consultations with health professionals are taking place more frequently online. To adapt to a changing climate, we have added an Online Consultation event to the Daily Notes section under the Health Professionals category. Alternatively, it can be added as a Body Map event. This is available through both CareDocs Desktop and CareDocs Cloud Portal.
As a reminder, you can create your own custom events for activities or situations that aren’t currently included in CareDocs.
Date and timestamps for your residents’ profile photos are another key addition to this update. By recording the date and time which someone last uploaded an image, you are supported in keeping your photos accurate and up to date.
Here’s an idea of what else you can expect:
- Improvements to temperature names and ranges
- New Daily Note events on CareDocs Cloud Portal
- Improvements to forms and form layouts
- Additional useful descriptions and information
- And more
Download the software update by heading over to the Settings section of CareDocs or by following the pop-up instructions when you restart the software.
Visit your Customer Zone to find our release notes and changelog, which includes a detailed breakdown of each new feature or improvement.
