Marketing Manager (FTC Maternity Cover)

We’re looking to find a Junior Marketing Manager or Senior Executive to come onboard and act as maternity cover for a valued existing team member. For the right candidate though, this could well lead to an alternative full time role later on, if they blow us away with their attitude, abilities, and pro-active approach to being part of the wider CareDocs team.

As a primary focus, you will need to be happy focussing on demand generation and working with business development on creating and delivering campaigns, as well as managing our attendance at events, content creation and overall marketing activities.

So, are you a confident, experienced, and passionate Marketing Manager or Senior Executive looking for a contract role with the potential to become a permanent employee in the future?

Are you completely customer focussed, but can be commercially minded and creative at the same time?

If so, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you in our Marketing team!

The Role

Reporting to and supported by the Head of Marketing & Customer Engagement, we need someone to come in and play a pro-active role in the day-to-day management of our Marketing activities as maternity cover for our existing employee.

Working across a variety of channels and mediums, you will be a crucial part of ensuring that we provide our customers and internal functions with a ‘Grade A’ marketing experience.

Whether you’re organising workloads, mentoring colleagues, getting involved defining marketing campaigns, writing blogs and ebooks, organising and attending events, you’ll take pride in ensuring our customers and prospects are provided with an experience that meets and exceeds their expectations.

To do this, you will need to be a natural at managing relationships, working under pressure, empathising with customers and colleagues, and take complex content and requirements and efficiently turn it into an engaging and digestible campaigns formats with clear messaging.

(Please note: This is not a creative designer role or just focussed on social media – if you are looking for your next position to be hands on with graphic design or just social creative work, sadly this isn’t the opportunity for you on this occasion. But please check back for future roles.)

What would your average day-to-day look like?
Working with your design and customer engagement colleagues, you will be happy to take ownership of day-to-day workloads, project management, as well as getting hands on with every marketing aspect. As a ‘can do’ problem solver, you’ll also need to be able to work to tight deadlines with varying focusses to ensure our marketing activities are the best they can be.

When not doing this, you will be happy working across a range of other projects, including writing blogs and ebooks, creating training content and release notes, and supporting the commercial focus of the business with campaign content.

Working in a young, friendly and informal SMB atmosphere, the ability to work autonomously as well as under guidance and as part of a busy team are essential. You’ll be happy formulating and suggesting ideas, managing assigned workloads, organizing projects, as well as taking ownership of your remit.

No two days will be the same, so if you like predictable and lazy days, unfortunately this role isn’t the one for you! However, if you are looking for an exciting and fast paced (but realistic) environment with plenty of room to develop and grow your skill set and career, this could be perfect for you!
