At a minimum, all passwords must now:<\/p><ul><li><b>Contain letters<\/b><\/li><li><b>Contain numbers<\/b><\/li><li><b>Be greater than eight (8) or more characters<\/b><\/li><\/ul><h4>Device authorisation<\/h4><p>As we approach the release of our brand new CareDocs mobile application, we are adding more security features to protect service user data. In v4.8.3, we have introduced a new method of controlling mobile device access.\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.caredocs.co.uk\/our-products\/caredocs-cloud\/caredocs-management-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CareDocs Management Portal<\/a> users now have the authority to approve or deny access to new devices.<\/span><\/p><h4>Disable access to portals for all users<\/h4><p>We have implemented a second new feature to the Management Portal that allows administrators to completely disable web application access for all staff users. For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caredocs.co.uk\/our-products\/caredocs-cloud\/caredocs-cloud-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CareDocs Cloud Portal<\/a> and the upcoming CareDocs mobile application.<\/p><p>This function can be especially useful in the rare event of a data security breach.\u00a0<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">By temporarily restricting CareDocs access to just the desktop application, you can ensure nobody is accessing service user information on a mobile device until the situation is resolved.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><strong>Daily notes, forms &amp; reporting<\/strong><\/h3><h4>New daily note events<\/h4><p>Following customer feedback, we have added six new event types to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.caredocs.co.uk\/our-products\/caredocs-features\/care-features\/daily-notes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daily Notes<\/a> section to record emergency visits from external healthcare professionals. This will help create more specific and consistent records and make it easier to locate historic events.<\/p><p>The new event category is titled Emergency and contains the events:<br \/><b>\u2022 First Responder<br \/>\u2022 Paramedic<br \/>\u2022 Nurse Practitioner<br \/>\u2022 Rapid Response Team <br \/>\u2022 Crisis Intervention Team <br \/>\u2022 Community Mental Health Team<\/b><strong style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; letter-spacing: 0px;\"><br \/><\/strong><\/p><h4>Improved vaccination consent and administration recording &amp; reporting<\/h4><p>The &#8216;Consent for Vaccination&#8217; form has been renamed &#8216;Consent for a Record of Vaccinations&#8217;. With this update, you can now record when a vaccination was administered and enter additional supportive information into the same form. This allows for more efficient records, which also makes reporting more comprehensive.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">The revised form gives you the ability to record one vaccination type per form by selecting a specific vaccine or booster from a drop-down list.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">The vaccines and boosters you are able to select from include:<\/span><\/p><p>\u2022<b> COVID-19 Vaccine<br \/>\u2022 COVID-19 Booster Vaccines<br \/>\u2022 Omicron Booster &#8216;Dual Vaccine&#8217; <br \/>\u2022 Influenza Vaccine<br \/>\u2022 Pneumococcal Vaccine<br \/>\u2022 Shingles Vaccine<\/b><\/p><p>You can use this form in conjunction with the \u2018Capacity Assessment and Best Interest Checklist\u2019 form to establish whether or not the service user has the mental capacity to consent to vaccinations.<\/p><p>A new supporting report titled &#8216;Consent for and Record of Vaccination Report&#8217; has been created to display information recorded in the form a single report.<span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">\u00a0Information which displays in the report includes:<\/span><\/p><p><b>\u2022 Date of Vaccination<br \/>\u2022 Service User Named<br \/>\u2022 Decision Maker<br \/>\u2022 Has Consent been Given<br \/>\u2022 Type of Vaccine <br \/>\u2022 Brand of Vaccine <br \/>\u2022 Comments<\/b><\/p><h4>Behaviour and mental capacity forms<\/h4><p>A new form titled &#8216;Individual Behaviour of Concern Incident and ABC&#8217; has been created to record service user concerns and incidents. It can be used in addition to the existing suite of behaviour-related forms in CareDocs.<\/p><p><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); letter-spacing: 0px;\">The form contains guidance that will help you define an appropriate level of concern (between 0-10) for incidents relating to self-injurious behaviour, aggression toward others and destruction. This can support in identifying patterns or triggers in behaviours that could potentially prevent the incident from occurring or escalating.<\/span><\/p><h3><strong>Greater cross-platform efficiency<\/strong><\/h3><h4>Mobile access enablement when creating staff members<\/h4><p>To help increase efficiency, we have added the ability to grant access to mobile platforms (e.g. CareDocs Cloud Portal) directly from the &#8216;Add New Staff Member&#8217; form.
