What is an adult & social care Subject Matter Expert?
Do you have a vast knowledge of the Adult & Social Care sector? Have you had experience as a manager of a care setting or do you have an understanding of working with the Care Quality Commission and Local Authority Commissioners and Safeguarding boards? Are you looking for a new career path that will enable you to put your stamp on the care sector?
We’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and is conversant with guidance sources such as NICE guidelines, NMC guidelines and other sources of information and guidance relating to the care sector.
If you meet these criteria, you could be our Subject Matter Expert (SME). We require a confident and qualified expert in the matter of Adult & Social Care to join us in and contribute to improving our established digital care planning and management software. Our SME must be willing to take on new challenges, encouraging and advising the development and technology team to anticipate and address current and prospective changes in legislation and practices.
What is CareDocs?
At first glance we’re a software company, but there’s actually a lot more to us. We provide an important service to care businesses across the UK. We have thousands of users who rely on our expertise and skills to assist them in delivering first class, person centred care to individuals in residential and nursing care homes. We do this by developing easy-to-use but comprehensive digital tools to record and manage care and ensuring we’re always up to date with the latest regulatory compliance. As a result, we’re a leading provider of digital care planning and management software.
Launched in 2008, CareDocs is a family-run business which started with the vision to reduce time-consuming tasks involved in the care process, allowing more time to focus on caring for the residents in the family’s own personal care home. Its benefits to individuals have always been our priority and supporting the care sector in sharing this with the people they are responsible for is equally as important to us.
The values our business was built upon make us unique. We’re passionate about serving the care industry and making a difference in people’s lives, and that is something that is shared across all our departments. This company-wide work ethic stems from how CareDocs was originally conceived and it has carried on through hard work and dedication.
How will you fit in?
The CareDocs software is updated regularly through desktop and internet-based systems to introduce new features and improvements. That’s where you come in. As an expert on the Adult & Social Care sector, you will be a source for all care related content. Reporting to the Head of Software Development, you will draw from your knowledge and background to help outline clear work specifications, support with the design and implementation of features, documentation and their adherences to quality standards and regulatory obligations based on our customer requirements.
If you think you’d be a perfect addition to an agile and skilled team of software developers, please see our job description and how to apply here: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/1894575815/
