CareDocs has a fantastic reputation among care providers. Many people will have heard of us because of our digital care recording and management software. Our user-friendly system, industry experts and unrivalled customer service have gained us the trust of thousands of loyal users across the UK which we help to deliver outstanding care.
But there’s more to us than just our software. We guide you through the entire transition by understanding your care setting’s needs, supplying appropriate hardware and offering a complete customer service to make sure things always run smoothly.
If you’re still using a paper-based system, you’ve probably thought about making the switch to digital but unsure what exactly goes into the transition. Overhauling your entire way of working doesn’t involve as much effort as you might think. CareDocs was created to reduce time-consuming admin tasks – and we want that benefit to start before you even turn on your new computer.
Learning about our customers is an essential part of the process so we can help you get the most out of your software. If you’re experiencing specific issues surrounding care, internal resource or home management, we can recommend a package that would suit your business and will explain the features we think you would find most useful. Before anything is agreed we want you to be confident that you know what you’re receiving.
Going digital has numerous benefits for both your business and your service users. If you still need some convincing, click here to see ten reasons why you should scrap paper.
We’ve been supplying and installing hardware, answering tech queries and repairing equipment since our launch in 2008. We’re tech experts with an aim to make the entire process as simple as possible. When you’ve chosen your package, your account manager arrives on site to go over the next steps and make the transition seamless.
This includes setting up your hardware and connecting your new computer to the local server, customising your system so it reflects your way of working, and training you on the software. That way, when we leave, you can continue your care and instantly benefit from a more efficient way of working.
Up & running
CareDocs is comprehensive system. It takes time to get used to and explore all the different features. Don’t worry though, if you run into any trouble, you’re not left to fend for yourself. We have a dedicated, UK-based support team and an out-of-office service that includes evenings, weekend and bank holidays.
We’re always standing by to help you with your questions and to fix or replace your hardware if you develop a fault. Our fantastic training team are also available for individual or group face-to-face or remote sessions, to walk you through different parts of the system.
Alternatively, you can choose to access an expanding database of online resources to find the answers to your questions and learn the software at your own pace. You’ll find training videos, step-by-step guides and FAQs to view and read at your convenience.
Growing your system
Depending on your business needs, it’s possible that you jump straight into acquiring multiple devices for your care home. Doing so reduces queuing, sharing and increases efficiency and accuracy of care. However, if you choose to start with one computer and wish for multiple staff to use the system at once at a later date, you can hire additional laptops and dedicated mobile devices like smartphones and tablets to provide essential point of care recording.
Our devices come with CareDocs pre-installed so you can dive straight onto the system without extra admin work. By hiring smartphones and tablets from CareDocs, you can monitor their use and access, keep them safe and charged in the office when not in use and be confident care isn’t interrupted by unexpected phone calls and texts on personal devices.

There’s also a diverse variety of blogs with practical advice, and we encourage you to get involved on social media to stay up to date with CareDocs and industry news.
Software updates are released regularly that deliver new and improved content, so new benefits and features are never too far away. We also appreciate feedback to help us improve our service and want our customers to have a voice, so you can even request your own changes for future development updates.
