All staff users will have a digital profile where various personal information can be stored.

How are Staff Profiles used?

For a staff member to use CareDocs, they first need to have a profile. Managers create profiles on behalf of their staff and can include as much information as necessary. This means everything you need to know about your staff can be found in one place.

When setting up a profile, you can include:

  • Full name & preferred name
  • Date of birth
  • Address
  • Contact details & emergency contact
  • Job title
  • Start date & end date (if known)
  • CareDocs security access settings
  • National Insurance number
  • DBS information
  • Professional references
  • Photograph
  • General notes & other information

Once the staff member has access to a profile they can log in and begin recording care. They can also take advantage of the Staff Messaging CentreTimesheets, Training and Supervisions features that make up part of their digital staff file.
