Compliance forms part of the criteria met by CareDocs DSCR in being listed on the NHS DSCR DPS Assured Solutions List for Digital Social Care Records.
press Release:
Bristol, UK - 22 July 2026
CareDocs DSCR, the digital care recording and care planning platform from Care Management Systems Ltd, has achieved compliance with DCB0129, the national clinical risk management standard for health IT systems. The standard forms one of the requirements CareDocs DSCR has met in being listed on the NHS DSCR DPS Assured Solutions List for Digital Social Care Records.
DCB0129 sets out how a health IT supplier must identify, assess and manage clinical risk throughout the design, development and ongoing maintenance of its software. Meeting the standard means CareDocs DSCR has been through a formal clinical risk management process, with hazards to service user safety identified and mitigated before they reach a live care setting.
The compliance sits within a wider national push to raise the standards expected of digital social care records, alongside criteria such as GP Connect interoperability and the Minimum Operational Data Standard (MODS). For care providers, it offers independent assurance that the software underpinning their daily records has been assessed against a recognised clinical safety standard, rather than relying on a supplier’s own claims.
