Version 2.7
Logging in to the system, the Home Status gives an immediate overview of everything happening in your Home.
Clicking on any of the headings gives a detailed list of everything waiting for attention, and clicking again on any of these takes you directly to the page requiring action. Click on ‘Residents’ and select someone and you’ll find the first notable change in the top menu bar. Click on ‘Body Map’ whilst in ‘Edit’ mode and a body map appears. Click on any part of the body to create a new map. You can return to already created Body Maps by clicking on the relevant part of the body. see below for Emotional Mapping.
On the Resident menu bar you’ll see a drop down menu for Charts. These are largely self-explanatory, but note the new option of setting a monitoring review period that then flags up on the Home Status page. Note also that the creation or addition of information to any Body Map or Chart is now automatically added as an entry on that resident’s Daily Occurrences log, with journal entries being replicated to the Short Term Objectives' journal.
Emotional Map and the Level of Engagement gauge, the idea behind this is to help build a documented picture of the emotional state of mind of your residents, and the degree to which they engage in the life around them. Most Homes are already deeply concerned about increasing or improving the level of person centred care they offer and we see this as being our first step in helping you do this. The Emotional Map and the Level of Engagement gauge appear automatically, but you have to click on a your selection for an emotion to register on the Daily Occurrence page, if you don’t the Emotional Response column remains blank.
A full Waterlow assessment and score is now included. You will have already inputted the information that goes towards scoring Waterlow (height, weight, BMI ) so all you have to do is go to the Resident’s Care Plan – Assessment section and you’ll find instructions.
Version 2.7 also includes more print options, beefed up Night Check and Mobility questions in the Assessment section.
