To keep the CareDocs Care Home Management system entirely safe it is supplied on a dedicated Dell laptop, making it easy to carry from resident to resident when making assessments, and back to the office for other work. Unlike many management systems where modules are sold separately, CareDocs comes complete with every function installed and ready for use, and with a complete one-touch tutorial to make using the system simple, even with no previous experience of computers.

And security? Each member of staff is given a unique user name and password, allowing you to specify their levels of access and, in addition, what information they are allowed to change.

The system works under three main headings:

Residents: Each Resident has a unique and separate care section within the program covering every aspect of their personal information, circumstances, healthcare and wellbeing, all of which can be added to and accessed by way of easy to use icons. Using CareDocs’ unique capabilities and at the push of a button, Resident assessments can be automatically transformed into fully completed Care Plans.

Home: Allowing Care Home managers to administer the management function of your Care Home, from waiting lists to equipment maintenance, menus to diary events, every safety issue and even resident invoicing.

Staff: With a messaging centre to allow staff to leave notes for each other, plus an area to hold full personal details, CRB checks etc, as well as full training requirements and a log of training due and attended; all with predetermined levels of access.

The CareDocs Care Home Management system is supplied on a contract basis, the minimum contract period being 12 months. Pricing is simple at £150 per month per home, for which you will be supplied with a dedicated Dell laptop (replaced free every three years), a digital camera for photographing Residents and memory sticks for backup.

The system comes with a 2 day replacement guarantee covering computer failure, the complete CareDocs Care Home Management system, personalised with your own logo and address, and a 24/7 e-mail plus a 9 to 5 help and assistance line.

Larger homes may find it helpful to have more than one laptop, and second and subsequent laptops will be supplied at a reduced rate of £75 per month per home, with a saving if two or more homes are equipped. There is an additional £100 set-up fee per home.

We’re also able to offer a dedicated printer, full on-site training if required and a ‘first-fill’ service to transfer your existing files onto the CareDocs system.
